can't change font size on imac 27

after installing lightroom 4 on new imac 27', found font small read. can change font size of menu little bigger , can't other font size. frustrated. reason why bought imac 27" protect weak vision , there no means change font size in lightroom. searched online , found many customers had issue. there solutions?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
