i created file in indesign cs6 , saved idml file yesterday. but today can not open either in cs6 or cs5 version. it says "cannot open file "project #3.idml". adobe indesign may not support file format, plug-in supports file format may missing, or file may open in application."   is there anyother way open file? this means file isn't .idml (how did make it?) or it's corrupt. hello have new dell inspiron 620. set windows 7 , within windows partitioned as ubuntu 11.10. hello, have today, first time ever saw, used , installed ubuntu 11.10 (64 bit) on dell inspiron 7110. after installation updated system (let download latest software , drivers). installed in dual boot windows 7. on windows 7 wireless connection router works fine: wpa1 tkip (private) security. have following problem in ubuntu: can connect unsecured network of neighbours, can not own network wich has wpa1+tkip. since works on same laptop windows 7 suspect configration or driver issue. searched forum , see many problems wireless connection, incl. people being able connect network in wep ,but not in wpa1 tkip. in ubuntu network manager not list/show network, list others including wireless security. fact network not listed happens on windows or mac (in case have key network ssid , of course password after fine). did same on ubuntu whatever try , keeps searching , asking wpa1/tkip key. appreciate way solve problem (i absolutely new/fresh linux/ubuntu). in attache...

working on getting of printers configured. using 11.04. work computer colorqube 8570. when try , print through chrome, can click "two-sided" option , prints fine. however, when go in actual printer dialog or use other program uses set printer menu , navigate page setup, there no other option in "two-sided" menu, 1 sided printing available. printer can print in duplex machine, why not available printer menu? hi, i've been improving skills after effects , having lot of fun. creators learn things everyday. i've come across problem, when duplicate particle (the layer cc particle world) , move in 3d space using producer settings, particle isn't seen anymore. for example, i'll duplicate particle, lower down y position, , after point, don't see anymore, only when near previous particle duplicated from. problem have many particle layers? i have 4, 1 being main, rest being energy streaks. provide screenshots of comp , settings. each layer treated separate instance , particles don't interact other stacking order of layers, whether 1 effect "near" otehr bears no influence. it's more need adjust settings render clipping, particle lifespan or floor collision, if use it, prevent particles disappearing or being exterminated prematurely.   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe

hello,   i new lightroom , trying use main photo editing/browsing platform. have figured out workflow suits me except dealing leftover photos. example, shoot 200 hundred photos , edit 60. 60 ones want keep. when open folder in lr still see edited photos ones don't want. there anyway can rid of these photos easily. suppose go through , delete them 1 one.   any here great   johnny johnny,   on first trip through photos, use "rejected" flag (x key) mark photos don't want keep (poor composition, out of focus, etc.).  when done, go photo, delete rejected photos (ctrl-backspace).  give dialog option either remove photo lightroom database, or delete photo disk (gone forever!) if can find way in workflow mark non-keepers rejected flag, should work.   keith More discussions in Lightroom Classic CC adobe

this isn't ubuntu question, more of general laptop/hardware question, these forums have lot's of smart brains thought i'd try , see if can help. laptop (dell xps m1330) shut down...completely , instantly turn off when it's not plugged in. happens after 5 minutes of being unplugged, it's hour after being unplugged. physical power light on battery lights of way, , system (both in kubuntu , windows 7) show laptop battery being charged , "2 hours" or remaining. ideas of cause power off? ideas of way can test or check logs? don't know if it's battery problem, or problem else on laptop, i'm pretty sure it's not os issue. thoughts? could issue overheating. did system log files, since these may contain additional information on why shut down. i have problem. create sticky note in adobe reader x, , when open it, unable read text.   here happens: create sticky note text, , close document. how close document may important in solving problem let me describe it: first hitting "sign" @ top, , hit "place signature". hit "done signing". i  receive popup window states: "any signatures or added text permanently merged in pdf finalize changes , file saved." hit "confirm" button. "save as" window appears, , save file hitting "save". when later go back, , open file, cannot view text in sticky note.   can me this? have done alot of work reviewing documents, making sticky notes text inside them, may have been naught, since cannot go later , read text inside notes.   mike More discussions in Acrobat Reader adobe

i have stopped bothering use dw ftp client because of bugginess--it fails upload large websites, whereas filezilla works without hitch. however, since began using fz dw connect remote site using passive mode. purely coincidental or there reason? if works, don't fix it.   ftp entirely dependent on server , configuration. have clients using filezilla (usually upload photos website can download them remotely instead of needing bring them thumb drive or portable hard drive) , love it. , if filezilla better, that's you.   but dreamweaver's ftp works servers , offers passive mode means can negotiate remote host , job done. offers sftp hosts require that.   use works workflow. hello friends, use dell inspiron 9100 dual boot, ubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx on 1 side, , windows xp sp2 on other... comparing both systems, notorious ubuntu uses less memory windows, reasonable considering there no antivirus running on ubuntu, example... on other hand, have observed use of cpu microprocessor higher in ubuntu, makes slow... example, browsing single facebook page makes cpu usage go 100% time... while browsing same page on windows, on same computer same cpu , same memory, uses smaller percentage of cpu, , browsing easier , faster... may reason problem? thank you!!! daniel you should start system monitor, switch processes tab , keep eye on process eating cpu load... ubuntu uses less recourses in aspects on machine, there kind of issue here. my ssd boot drive failed. installed new ssd boot drive , running os 10.7.5. recovered applications time machine.  however, ps6 not open , instantly crashes. suggestions?   i messages "could not load enable async i/o module  , mmx core routines module , multiprocessor support module because (they) not work version of ps.   i downloaded ps6 upgrade ps5 in late 2012. have had these same error messages since upgrade cs6, @ least use ps6 though messages occurred.   any ideas?   p.s. lightromm 4.4 works fine after above procedure. it's ps6 not working @ all. the ps installer writes hundreds of files numerous locations outside of applications folder, use installer.
