hello, switched final cut x adobe premiere so, sorry if question basic. thing is, editing footage, , started transferring clips adobe after effects color correction. working okay, once finished color correction of clip in ae, same clip turn pink color in premiere, attached picture show guys better.   and now, have bunch of pink clips, , playback screen not working. can hear there no visuals. reason ae not responding, finished color correcting fifth clip , ae randomly stopped responding , that's when playback monitor in premiere stopped. can me? in advance.   by way, playback monitor work footage remain blue. doesn't pink footage.   these pink clips talking about. hey everyone,   i work large pdf files (sometimes 1000 page documents) , move pages 1 pdf sometimes.  i've found acrobat xi pro terrible it's stability.  having program crash 5 10 times per day.  it's pretty crazy because had 5-10 crashes per year acrobat x pro.  i'm wondering if it's new font flattening or whatever makes happen?   anyway, i've found crash when have thumbnail pages on left in view, , scroll through thumbnail pics.  if scroll through them fast (like rolling down web page fast) crashes, , mean constantly.  have adapted use of program go slow - "a 4 year old child might scroll down web page" slow.  , still crashes.  it's pretty shocking.   i don't mind, it's huge pain can still work... here's thing.  if crashes while writing in text box can ruin of notes on entire document.  font still there turns bunch of xxxxxxxxxxx's boxes around them.  can manually go in , edit of these , change font xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...

hello, i've got medion md20165 20" touch screen. i've installed ubuntu server 11.10 on pc, i've installed xdm , lxde. it's nice , light, i'm using old pc piii , 256 mb ram. combi of lightweight ubuntu , light lxde, it's works nice , fast! if use standard ubuntu it's slower sirup. (takes 5 min boot, 2 min unity (of gnome) respond (i suspect because fill mem causing heave swap usage)). setup works nice , fast. (boot times under 2 min, response direct, 2-3 ms time that's okay) anyway... touchscreen worked directly (i plugged in usb , touched screen , mouse went directly finger!) when connected windows (different pc...) can scroll swiping finger or down. if held finger (or stylus) on screen 5 secs did right click. these 2 things i'm missing... else working fine. didn't have calibration (never did, factory did me, saves me headache!) had automatic adjustment (the screen offset right , top). how can fix this...

i kept thinking lightroom 3 eating ram , making computer run hot, stumpled on going on. may many of not speed lightroom, computer in general. i edit few photos before laptop ( acer aspire) lock , have wait awhile before let me continue. either going add more ram ( 4 gig) or faster computer. decided open task manager processes window on first start instead of when started having problems , amazement 50% of cpu being used , 2  2.5 gig of ram being used file called wmpnetwrk.exe! again had not opened programs( realize things running in background, nothing should using memory!) began researching , found out known problem! file attached windows media player , should become enabled when use media player server try , network other devices in home. well, guess what? connected media player directv media server awhile way before installed lightroom. not impressed setup ( did not connect , not show of media, etc.) never connected again thinking long did not select function anymore servers no...

hey guys, i've set sftp server using openssh. after following guide online, set group called sftponly , added user group. used match group switch in sshd_config file match group user's in group connect sftp sessions. set chroot point "/home/%u". created user , added sftponly group. changed ownership of user's home directory root, , changed home directory / . when connected using winscp locked home directory (/home/<username>) on sftp (good!) not able create files or directories in directory (bad!). oddly enough, when change ownership user home directory, no longer able connect system on sftp. gives me connection refused message. can explain me what's going on? i'm new @ setup go easy on me guys maybe try this: chown root.sftponly /home/whatever chmod g+rwx /home/whatever make directory's group (sftponly) able create files. ...
