pe11 crops prints pictures. why? i use 4x6 paper print. when pe11 shows thumbnail on preview screen prior printing whhole  picture there. output shows cropping spoils composition of picture took.  tried fooling system saying iwas using 3x5 paper , whole picture there of course there lots of white space around it. can ariound problem using 4x6 pper? probably, pse cropping photo because not 4x6.   normally, need crop photo 4x6 aspect ratio in order print 4x6.   so, pixel dimensions of photo? as in title. firefox did work on first being installed after adding no-script, better privacy, add search bar, , downthemall. put in none free flash player it. stopped working after update yesterday. had been working fine few weeks until then. far rememember took important security updates , declined recomended updated included weather. disable recomended updates hadn't got round yet install recent , it's been christmas etc. have no repositories installed. on trying open firefox either via applications menu or icon on top bar cursor spinning "i'm trying something" bit , firefox tab appears on lower bar tab disapears , cursor returns pointer mode. totally removed firefox via synaptic , reinstalled it, caused repeate of the above fail open. put in seamonkey which, oddly mozilla, works fine , i'm using post this. bug not utterly critical me though i'd rather use firefox easier add search engines via add search bar. default bro...

hello, did brand new install of ubuntu 11.10. uninstalled unity , installed lxde. want machine boot tty1 went /etc/grub.d , changed line vt.handoff=7 in 10_linux vt.handoff=1 did sudo update-grub. whatever reason machine sits @ splash screen forever. can ctrl-alt-f1 , tty1 fine. tried using lubuntu whatever reason kept dropping wifi. i'm using lubuntu on machine in house , it's doing same thing. booted windows , wifi works fine. i'm ubuntu. thank help. did start lxde desktop before change tty7 tty1? hi all, installed ubuntu 11.10 through wubi. before had chance explore system came across following problem. extremely grateful guys! when ubuntu starts, wireless network (only source of internet on laptop...) detected , works beautifully moment. then, after 5 or 7 minutes stops working. connection icon still indicates "connected", "iwconfig wlan0" looks i'm connected (correct essid etc.), no sites can accessed on firefox , "ping www.google.com" fails (for other sites etc.). if disconnect network , try reconnect, @ each reconnection attempt password rejected despite being correct (could sort of timeout?), no networks seen (and few visible win7). logging out , in makes no difference, rebooting makes things work again moment, hardly solution. wifi works no problem under win7. did not install drivers, far understand driver card part of distribution. ran command listing loaded modules (lsmod think) , listed 2 driver-look...

i have several fireworks png files (since adobe never give real extension) need out of format, before adobe kills fireworks. (do think move carbon cocoa. apple enough rid of carbon together) fireworks did not retina display support.   i guess options conver layered psd's? know how that? adobe not move fireworks cocoa, should able use application indefinitely, long operating system supports it. (i don't know what's forthcoming macos; know there annoying compatibility issues mountain lion.) adobe's not killing fireworks they've sent out pasture (i.e. not developing it), has been unacknowledged reality quite while now.   to convert fireworks pngs photoshop psds, have tried save command in fireworks? choose ‘photoshop psd’ format , click options more control on conversion process. hello, installed ubuntu through wubi on main computer(also runs 7) , i'm having bit of problem. when using thinkpad, scroll way wanted, since had little orange joystick in middle of keyboard, , supported 2 finger scrolling. on computer, can't 2 finger scrolling work. when go mouse , touchpad menu under system settings, touchpad tab isn't there. is possible to: 1. enable 2 finger scrolling or... 2. enable method of scrolling(e.g. hold 'fn' while moving on trackpad) thanks, chamberlain edit: #2 implying making keyboard button work middle mouse button. edit again: found way map menu key middle mouse button, helpful things closing tabs , opening links in new tabs, can't scroll it. final edit: found tool called gpointing, works well. i having bit of problem xubuntu's terminal (11.10x64, terminal 0.4.8). when issue command 'shutdown -h 15:00', i'd expect computer shutdown @ 15:00 (which does), i'd expect send out system broadcast message sessions every 15 minutes or mentioning system going down shutdown soon. oddly, message doesn't appear, not in session ran shutdown command. did digging , seems shutdown uses wall send these messages out. looking deeper, noticed each terminal can have write access turned off through mesg command. checked, however, , seems mesg returns 'y' terminals. further, disabling mesg doesn't disable root's ability write terminal. further testing (using wall manually root , not) confirms no sessions wall messages. edit: wrote 11.04 because i'm idiot. fixed 11.10 so, guess hoping had clue why writes failing this. i can confirm i'm seeing same issue on xubuntu 11.10 ...

i created generic form (using "custom" page size - 8.27x11) , included interactive fillable fields.  when exported pdf , tested fillable form, fields worked , in order placed /arranged them using "tab order".   i choose "alternate layout" - a4, exported pdf again, time of fields became out of order.  went , cheked "custom" form (just sure) , ok.   any on this?   thank you! it sounds bug. both of features new in cs6. no 1 tested them together. you'll have separate layouts separate documents.   you can report bugs here:   adobe - feature request/bug report form More discussions in InDesign adobe
