hallo zusammen   ich habe eine frage bezüglich des navigationsbereichs.   wenn ich mit dem word 2010 ein dokument als pdf abspeichere, dann erscheint der navigationsbereich (also die lesezeichenliste mit den überschriften) nicht automatisch. man muss dann links auf das zeichen drücken und dann kommt die navigation. nun muss ich das pdf allerdings viele verschiedene leute verschicken und ich traue nicht allen zu, dass sie wissen, dass es diese navigation gibt und wie man sie ersichtlich macht.   kann ich eine einstellung machen, sodass bei jeder person, die das pdf öffnet, der lesezeichen- navigationsbereich automatisch erscheint?   ich weiss, dass es irgendwie geht, da ich auch schon solche pdfs erhalten habe. allerdings weiss ich nicht, ob das mit der "gratisversion" möglich ist?   vielen dank schon im voraus!! mit adobe acrobat kann man diese einstellung vornehmen und im dokument speichern. using deja dup in 11.04, backed home directory external usb drive, , incrementally updated backup several times, jan 1. made fresh install of unbuntu 11.10 later day , proceeded restore files using deja dup, when reached "restore when?" dialog, recent backup dates not listed options. these date listed: 10/28/2011, 09/30/2011, 09/11/2011. know there several backups since in november, december, , 1 jan 1, 2012. there times used "resume later" function during period. in case, got indication backup successful each time attempted backup, , didn't error messages. used duplicity restore had new directory, , looks restored 10/28/2011 version. have attached terminal output of command (which says there tons of "orphaned" backup files), , list of files in backup directory. fortunately there gpg files december , january backups, don't know how make use of them while duplicity ignoring them. can do? ...

hi, i'm trying install onto cf card. using old pc 512 ram (which maximum) , 1.2 celeron. have new 4 gb adata cf card connect cf ide 2.5 adapter, 2.5 3.5 ide adapter. having trouble when gets partitioning 11.10 freezes , 10.04 says has problems size of partitions. have been reading , found partition size wont work, managed install 8.04 unto one, did install without swap space. tried 10.04 without swap space did not work, i'm downloading 8.04 try out on one. hope works. x_x moved it's own thread. original thread can found here . i'm preparing magazine ad full bleed , magazine's specs worded in way that's confusing me (maybe it's lack of sleep). it's full page , and list full bleed size 8.25" x 11.25". bleed should .25" on 4 sides. final trim size 7.75"x10.75". live area 7"x10" within trim area. set indesign document page size 8.25"x11.25" .25" bleed around set margin .375" around (half of .75"). created picture box @ document size of 8.25"x11.25" , filled ad in pdf format added logos , our address , phone number. when exported pdf crop marks, crop marks outside document area. should have made document size equal live area (7x10) instead of full bleed size? your document size should set @ trim size (the 7.75" x 10.75"). bleed set @ 1/4" round. margin set live area.   take care, mike More discussions in InDesign adobe

my current project requires me collage lot of photographs.  particular client likes revise every detail.  illustrator seems way lay things out in mind. size of footprint can change @ given moment need able move things around.  images need lots of filters, drop shadows etc.  trying plan best way tackle & keep file size managable.  tips or advice appreciated! tutululu,   if (mostly) working raster images (such photographs), photoshop seem more obvious choice. illustrator made vector artwork. there overlaps of features , tools, each application stronger on own (home) ground.
