hi, when 1.3.25 came out busted sound quite bit. there thread ( http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.ph...r=asc&start=50 ) on wine forums discussing using .asoundrc resolve of (dardack's guide near end). tried out , worked fantastically. both wine , pulseaudio talk dmixed devices asoundrc , of sound issues gone. wine, pulseaudio, flash etc worked. fast forward 1.3.30. wine switches setup sound again. new setup works wine seems ignore asoundrc setup , accesses alsa devices directly , exclusively. causes immediate issues pulseaudio (asoundrc or no) , other application trying use alsa @ same time. have tried getting working , without pulseaudio, , without asoundrc changes without success. wine or alsa issue. right keep bouncing , forth between 1.3.29 , 1.3.35 depending i'm playing. else having similar issues or suggestions on how fix this? ubuntu 10.04 pulseaudio: 0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu14 libasound2: 1.0.24.1-0...

hi folks! when run evolution, loads fine. however, when go send new e-mail or reply existing e-mail, evolution crashes. running "--debug=filename" doesn't give information, running "gdb evolution" , "start" produces output: program received signal sigsegv, segmentation fault. 0x00007fffebedf788 in ?? after numerous problems running windows 7 ultimate , ubuntu 11.04 on dual-booting workstation, decided abandon microsoft altogether since had retired while , had no further need heavy-duty engineering software had been running years. in addition that, wife had been running ubuntu since version 6.04 , happy it. since using rig serious writing , related illustrating, waved bye-bye uncle billy , signed on ubuntu. workstation has pair of 1tb wd drives in raid1 mirror promise technology fasttrak tx2300 pci controller. gave no problems after wiped windows 7 drives , expanded partitioning entire 900-plus capacity, minus 12gb swapfile. upgrade 11.10 went through without problems, recent update of 119 files caused boot problems. attempts correct booting using boot repair disk killed altogether, , wiped array clean install , in business. problem can't rebuild raid1 mirror. disks wiped clean, , when try partition array, gparted keeps telling me can't format...

this last problem have pim stuff, sync google mail, contacts , calendars samsung gt-s5260 gsm , evolution, evolution has problem contacts [78]. did set evolution sync email, contacts , calendars. email , calendar ok, contact sync did not work. after go-ogling found advice go "passwords , keys" , delete entry "google" , did so. after starting evolution again, asked password in contacts screen , loaded contacts. changed little bit lay-out of contacts , felt happy. closed evolution again , when restarted evolution contacts had disappeared. whatever try, cannot contact reappear nor possible delete google address book. contacts in google correct , have not changed. looks authorization issue , entries in "password , keys" are: imap://<myname>@imap.gmail.com/ imap://<myname>@imap.gmail.com caldav://<myname>@%40gmail.com@www.google.com/calendar/dav/<myname>@gmail.com/events caldav://<myname>@gmail.com@www....
