Dazed and confused in Windows 8

w8, ie 10 flash v. 11.7.700.169

 

a facebook game showed needed download flash player. in preparation of doing uninstalled flash player in 'uninstall programs'.  think 1 of programs where.. doesn't remove previous installation before installing more recent one.

 

this site won't let me reinstall flash player, instead looping me article stating w8 has flash player in 2 places. able bring fp 32-bit properties after uninstall. 64-bit laptop. there 64-bit version of flash player , since fb games still work i'm assuming there flash version on don't know where. 1 page on site shows version above , 'movie'. 

 

believe or not don't.. want compromise laptop - it's first, can't afford type of thing , got w/in last month.

 

i'm not techie means... i'm sooo confused.  you??   (help)

you don't need install flash player on ie10/windows 8; it's preinstalled.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
