i have video boss likes style of , wondering if can tell me if looks created in after effects? have been looking every find after effects tutorial makes similar no avail i'm wondering if i'm looking in wrong place? mean 3d cutout paper effect, not butterfly part.

yes, in after effects.

 

it looks 3d layers arrayed in scene basic animations , camera lens blur effect depth-of-field blur. nothing fancy.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
