Magazine App Questions

hello,

we have had magazine in apple app store 7 months now. magazine has been free, need make paid app. went ahead , changed settings in newsstand on itunes connect (for 99 cents). have couple quick questions:

 

1. have made new app submit app store dps app builder. changed subscription type "paid". asks subscription products "product id" , "duration." pulled our apps product id in-app purchase screen in itunes connect. correct? in itunes connect has "type" "free subscription." change "paid subscription" once submit new app , gets approved? (i have changed bank info apple in order handle this) have included couple of screenshots reference.

 

2. exported ipa file test on ipad. when load try out wondering if start showing paid app. loads old issues of our magazine free downloads. should change 99 cents? or because these free still free?

 

3. subscriptions: when open app on test ipa there "subscribe" button when tap nothing happens. should else happen here or should nothing happen test app?

 

4. push notifications. have had trouble getting push notifications working think have them figured out now. can test ipa file? tried sending notification folio producer, test ipa didn't respond. should it?

 

any appreciated.

you need set in-app purchases folios , add them subscription products in itunes connect else existing folios continue available free. need republish them retail folios. can test if subscription works in sandbox using developer viewer setting test user accounts in itunes connect. need sign out of app store on device regular account first. believe push notifications don't work in sandbox, i'm not quite sure.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
