Thread: Add a remote location in Unity

ok guys, should easy one.

i'm using latest ubuntu (11.10) , want connect remote server on ftp, sftp or ssh. reason want can "remote edit" files on webserver through bluefish.

astonishingly easy gnome can't seem figure out how unity. tried using askubuntu find site confusing use on it's own , no 1 has answered question yet thought i'd try here.

told me try using nautilus if unity has functionality built in i'd rather use that.

worked me, there i'm not sure of commands. make sure ftp port 21 open on router, , know how log router.

sorry i'm not ubuntu expert yet, i'm learning

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
