Thread: cant get the card to "turn over"

hi there have atheros card [168c:001c]
think card uses ath5k @ least use too.
i* got bright idea install compat wireless , thi9ngs went down hill there. uninstalled compat (followed read me page) after can not thig fire anymore. have tried
lsmod
shows
hp_wmi , ath5k
rfkill list shows hardblock yes no matter how many times press button nothing still hard\blocked

tried remove hp_wmi know mod causes trouble. heck tried remove ath5k nothing. if remove , put works shut off , start on again. did again time wrote things down , made script tried running script , still getting nothing.

i* have cat5 if see pl;ease

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
