Thread: how to install Linux on ipod touch

as place apple users thought question should placed here. sorry if in wrong place.
i've got ipod touch 3g , wonder if there way install linux distro ubuntu or xubuntu on it. ios not important me deleted. other info on if ubuntu runs fast , firm on i-devices . thanx in advance .

ubuntu not designed operate on these devices, barely runs on android device properly. these devices not task yet , it's not worth trying time being.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
