Thread: install 3rd party module

hi,

i'm trying load 3rd party module python2.7 on ubuntu install. have managed termial load python when type in , have edited .bashrc file let know 3rd party module when start python via terminal.

cannot idle see it.

can add inside idle window via:

import sys sys.path.append('the path here folder')

it works, after close window info lost ever.

don't understand i'm doing wrong.
