Thread: No native mode, forcing panel scaling

hi all
installed ubuntu server 11.10 hard disk.
have 2 hard disk , 1 used windows xp , other 1 left unused. today installed ubuntu server on it. after installation, can't start up. searched related post in

when enter recovery model, can't find /boot/grub/menu.lst, /boot empty directory.

" /boot/grub/menu.lst " refer oldish/unused grub-legacy. 11.10 use grub2 aka grub-pc, find /etc/default/grub

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
