Thread: questions about RAID and UFI - multi boot.

i planning on getting new computer in next few months, , have minor questions technologies unfamiliar with. computer 64bit os ran on intel z68 (2600/2700k). dual booting windows 7 , ubuntu ufi , raid 0.
understanding before installing os, enable pre-boot enable ufi , raid0.


ufi- still able install , run ubuntu usual - basic install disc? , able run burg-mananger load os?


raid0- can enable in bios, er, ufi options , oses supposed (like, wont have go thru , let them know theyre in raid, or take steps)?

can confirm or deny assumptions appreciated. know lil bit of way around computer, first experience raid, ufi, , building own computer, im trying of questions asked ahead of time, know might running issues at. thanks.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
