Thread: Sun Java plugin and Firefox 9.0.1

hello all. have package sun-java6-plugin installed , firefox 9.0.1 installed on ubuntu 10.04 64 bit. java used work, doesn't anymore. has else had same problems?

i figured out.

apparently firefox 9.0.1 few weird things. had re-create symbolic link using following command:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so /usr/lib/firefox-addons/plugins/
i have 64 bit ubuntu hence amd64.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
