laptop connected tv via vga cable , displaying crystal clear images both energy saving , personal preference i'd turn laptop screen off still display image on tv. i've tried every setting in monitors setting turns off boff laptop , tv mange. shutting lid has same effect

pressed fn , f4 turned tv off. restarted laptop , went in screen settings , reason able turn of laptop screen
