Thread: update-manager package broken

any provide awesome. have following error message in desktop title bar. i'm running ubuntu 11.10.

could not initialize package information

unresolvable problem occurred while initializing package information.

please report bug against 'update-manager' package , include following error message:

'e:malformed line 60 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (uri)'

i believe getting error after typed following command while trying install latest version of thunderbird.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
