Where are the directions for using a metadata template in Photoshop?

photoshop displays metadata images, including camera data.  latter can include owner, not told information comes from.  possible comes “metadata template” accessed second of 4 tabs @ bottom of camera data screen.  there folder: user>library>application support>adobe>imp>metadata template, latter folder emply, , (quite naturally) there exists no directions setting metadata template.  @ least 1 not turn searching adobe website.

there vague hints existence of direction (as @ http://www.adobe.com/products/xmp/custompanel.html), no specific directions needed.

does know this?

the camera data, majority of can not edited. owner, there should have been program came camera allows enter personal information, plus other pertinent information time/date, etc.

 

i find altering of metadata easier in bridge or lightroom.

 

as setting template, straight forward. type in details not chage author, address, web page, copyright date, etc. , leave rest blank. save template, can apply data other pictures @ will. edit individual images needed. bridge , lightroom fit in.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
