Acrobat 8 Keeps Crashing

acrobat 8 keeps crashing - pc running vista.

 

when try combine files acrobat gets partway through fails. if try enough times work.  have put while want fix it. happens in other functions create pdf.

you can try updating latest version of acrobat 8 see if helps or can uninstall acrobat 8, run acrobat cleaner tool, re-install

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
