Clip > Modify > Audio Channels: No Enable

on page 281 of premiere pdf states:

 

change source audio channel mapping 1 or more clips…

2. in audio channels pane of modify clip dialog box, of following:

  • select format track format list.
  • to enable or disable audio channel, select or deselect enable option source channel.

 

i'm trying find enable button in cs6. went video suggested in cs6 pdf , can see enable button, not shown in premiere. see screen capture. window on left; video's window on right.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
