Flash player 11.7.700.169 does not work on Firefox

hello,

 

i updated flash player latest version, can't see flash videos anymore (blank youtube links on facebook e.g.). before uninstall , older version of player, tryed find answer problems threads on website. nothing helped.

 

i checked version on computer using http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html, and:

   1. can see movie ball , message "flash player installed on system"

   2. box dynamically displays following information:

          flash player version 11.7.700.169

          os: windows xp (32-bit)

          browser: mozilla firefox

 

 

for info: firefox 20.0.1 installed.

 

i may not fulfill system requirements (but player used work until latest version):

 

microsoft xp pro version 2002 sp3

intel pentium m

processor 1,86 ghz

1,00gb ram

no windows update available.

 

in c:\windows\system32\macromed\flash are:

 

flashinstall

flashplayer.xpt

flashplayerupdateservice

flashutil32_11_7_700_169_plugin

genuinst

kb923789

mms.cfg

npswf32_11_7_700_169.dll

plugin.vch

sorry have written above, there seems no issues flash player installation. not sure whether due outdated os or not fulfilling system requirements.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
