How long will Edge animate keeps free？

the description in official document not clear. wondering how long (until when) software kept free? mentioned free licence never expire, means since alreay member in project , have installed edge animate free licence, can use forever (even able update in future)?

the version have not "time out" @ promotional price of $0.  this, however, not mean versions of animate remain free, upgrades not assured @ promotional price.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
