InDesign CS6 Crashes shortly after opening a file

hi there,

 

i've searched web answer have had no luck. opened file working fine not open. opening indd file in cs5 , decided try cs6 see if work.

 

here process.

  1. i open file
  2. approx 7 seconds after file opens message, "adobe indesign cs6 has stopped working"

 

i image link issue or font issue not prompt replace font or find images.

 

any suggestions?

 


does still open in cs5?  os? cs6 updated 8.0.1?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
