Thread: Can't install/uninstall anything.

hello,

i've installed meditomb, didn't tried remove it. problem is still running!! i've tried remove it!! apt-get -f install mediatomb, apt-get --purge remove mediatomb...

real problem when try install/uninstall other things , error:

code:
processing triggers man-db ... setting mediatomb-daemon (0.12.1-0ubuntu2) ... invoke-rc.d: unknown initscript, /etc/init.d/mediatomb not found. dpkg: error processing mediatomb-daemon (--configure):  subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 100 errors encountered while processing:  mediatomb-daemon e: sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned error code (1)

not positive, may issue of not being able uniinstall running process. open system monitor , kill process first. try uninstall. hope works you. thought.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
