Thread: Help with some git

i'm trying contribute project, i'm having trouble navigating through git commands. cloned original project, created , switched new branch, , made few commits. forked original project , sent pull request through github. figured out here, , think did ok.

now, else has forked branch , sent pull request merge fork master branch. merged through github, on github can go repository forked original project , see in master branch changes other person made. how can download changes local computer? if go directory made when first cloned project , run 'git pull' says it's up-to-date.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
