i 43 year old guy uk , have been fascinated computers since 1980's. interested in gnu/linux 2000 , used report bugs time , proud of thought of helping further develop gnu/linux , many applications.

on past year or have found not reporting bugs @ , whenever come across application bugs , not work tend remove computer , use application.

appear want working system don't want spend time helping make better.

whats happened inner geek?

perhaps life has got busier?

or time focus in 1 area? e.g. sound applications (plenty of potential there!)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
