i'm using old dell latitude laptop ubuntu 11.10. have netgear wireless pc card wg511 (v1 believe) used prior installing ubuntu. without purchasing new cardbus don't have way online laptop directly haven't been able follow instructions found similar cases card work. possible download driver on computer , transfer over? windows driver work it? first time ubuntu apologize if stupid question.

hi can use ndiswrapper. linux module allows ubuntu use windows driver wireless cards (in cases)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
