Thread: Mail Server not allowing externall devices to connect

hi, have bought vps , have followed tutorial set up.

working fine apart email. webmail works fine, can send , view mailbox.

when try connect mail server externally via outlook or phone ect. cant connect smtp server. can recive mail not send.

ideas might have done wrong?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
