i new unity , avid user of gnome when switched natty. i'm still adjusting myself unity while got problem. thing noticed in oneiric had omitted 'synaptic'. used use lot download updates , other packages after creating script of packages , dependencies. knw can still install synaptic through software center there still way around it?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
