Thread: a process called unity-panel-service kills me after a few days

i feel if doing wrong. process called unity-panel-service kills me after few days taking gigantic amount of ram. log out restart session when goes on 500mb. worse using windows.

im wondering if problem unique myself. see there several bugs open problem cant be.

there must lot of people on 11.10 arent getting problem. know solution ?

thread moved desktop environments.

decided move post own thread suspect support sooner , better here (and free bump )

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
