i have been running tmp on ram via
none /tmp tmpfs nr_inodes=200k,mode=01777,nosuid,nodev,size=2g 0 0
the problem seems corrupt ram upon restarting. have dual boot dows, many reasons, , reboot @ least once day. if want restart, have shut down , let ram clear, before booting.

know doesn't give much, if any, speed improvement, don't have free space on hard drive. do, however, have 6gb of ram, , don't use more 2gb of it. wanted use cd burning cache, ect.

so, know if (a) possible right, and/or (2) better way mount not have problem?
