well when trying compiz messed unity able fix reset unity , uninstalling after tried other things. no when have nothing open top bar doesnt have desktop options on blank until open program. multi workplace thing doesnt work shows 1 have others black , dont work @ when click them open home folder. somehow of visual things log on , shut down aren't anymore plain thing showing processes going when shutting down instead of regular dots or whatever. im running 11.10 thanks!

what did uninstall?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
