Thread: Ubuntu 11.10 and multible VNC connections

i have problem setting ubuntu 11.10 run remotely multible users via multible vnc connection. have used tightvnc server version 1.3.9 has worked fine earlier 11.04. multible users , no need login locally.

connection can established normaly don't have menus on desctop!


ubuntu version 11.10 (gnu/linux 3.0.0-12-generic x86_64)

.vnc/xstartup -file looks this:

start server this:
vncserver :3

looks started normaly...

new 'x' desktop myserver:3

starting applications specified in /home/myfolder/.vnc/xstartup
log file /home/myfolder/.vnc/myserver:3.log

used tight vnc viever in w7 connect myserver:3
blank desctop shown.

lack fonts or something? @ least font server not runnig @ all?
