hi,

d use latest version didn't it's , performance.. installed , slowed down laptop. gnome 3 not me. after hours installed 11.04 .. 11.04 good.

there had problems 11.10 me ? s slow open programs, documents, folders.. freezes sometimes.. has lag open . takes time respond apps.. etc. after installed updates keeps giving problems said..

11.04 has performance problems, slows , lagging while opening apps, folders, docs.. there way speed ?

q. there way turn 11.04 ubuntu classic no effects ?

- both panel same color, no transparent in middle
- date , time on left panel not in middle
- , direct restart tab. when press on power icon
...etc

windows user years, ubuntu makes me feel has many bugs inside , doesn't make me feel secure.. free , open source shouldn't mean cheap , not useless.. d see more powerful ubuntu os.

if not cheap, should send $300 .....

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
