Thread: updates fail - DNS error

ubuntu 10.04 desktop

shows list of udates need installed. ok, give password, update starts , errors out:

unable resolve security.ubuntu.com

other upgrade 11.0?, can solve this? other names being resolved (msn, yahoo, etc), think dns settings ok (dhcp).

what contents of /etc/apt/sources.list file?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
