you can try exporting selections excel workbook , check

  • export selection excel workbook (.*xlsx): to copy whole or part of pdf table excel adobe acrobat, select table need > right click reveal option "export selection as…" > click export selection as… > name file , select excel workbook (.*xlsx) save type drop-down list.
  • save microsoft excel workbook: to convert whole pdf file microsoft excel workbook adobe acrobat, click file > save as… >spreadsheet > microsoft excel workbook.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
