Batch create multiple pdf's while using epilogue.ps for setting initial view and opening bookmarks

hi,

 

i'm trying batch create multiple pdf's word files, , use epilogue.ps file setting initial view , opening bookmarks panel, keep getting no satisfying result.. i'm missing fundamental.

i've read forum posts , adobe posts explaining this, i'm pretty sure possible?

acrobat: acrobat x professional

 

i've searched , found way overwite epilogue.ps file , have inserted following:

%  insert custom postscript here...

[ /pagemode /usethumbs

/page 1 /view [/fit ]

/docview pdfmark

 

after checked adobe acrobat preferences, , in categorie 'convert pdf' selected 'microsoft office word' in select area 'converting pdf'.

clicked 'edit settings' allow creating joboptions file (field: 'adobe pdf settings') has option 'use epiloque.ps , prologue.ps' checked in advanced section.

 

so thought have everyting setup create pdf's, however, view isn't changed fit, nor there bookmarks or in case thumbs (i used /usethumbs) visible.

 

did miss obvious? there better way test this? appreciated!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
