Clarification of v26 article options "metered/protected/free"?

hi,

 

i have read through documentation (both german , english) , still don't understand option choose.  since cannot test functionality content viewer try luck here in forum.

 

we publishing magazines through adobe dps, old-school.  have app in appstore , publish folios "public/retail" options. no web-view!

 

now take advantage of giving our readers possibility "sneak-preview" of articles in folio.  since v26 gives me option set article "free", seems simple. 

 

now question : option choose other articles _not_ free? 

 

and, folio still "retail" folio normal pricing? happends when reader chooses read article _not_ free? hit normal "paywall"?

 

i little confused since lot of "documentation" talks metered web-view, nothing need.

you choose "metered" allow customers see article free, paywall shreshhold set.  instance, if allowed metering, set amount of articles 1 preview 3 (3), of articles set metered free customer see until or has seen 3 (3), wouldn't allowed see more articles.

 

from understand after v26 webinar, metering works in web viewer @ moment. 

 

you use "protected" in situation wouldn't want customer seeing article without purchasing folio.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
