so, because i'm amazingly brilliant, got box version of cs6 new imac... know, 1 w/out dvd drive? so, i'm thinking getting external drive, they're pretty cheap, wondering, boxed version owner, there way still downloadable installers?

 

any input appreciated, thanks,

from adobe website, download trial version of whichever cs6 product have purchased.

 

launch trial , enter serial number license it.

 

fyi, of 1 may 2013 (or thereabouts), adobe has discontinued selling boxed versions of products. it's download perpetual licenses or cloud subscriptions.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
