Enable menu items JavaScript execution privileges

the note setting seems contradict and/or rest of documentation: "enables executing js clicking menu items. when off, privileged js calls can executed via menu unless have been wrapped in app.trustfunction. executing non-privileged js calls via menu items not blocked whether box has been checked or not."

is supposed read "js calls cannot [...] unless"?

 

will checking box make reader more or less restrictive of embedded javascript arbitrary sources in unsigned pdfs?
