Hasn't been working properly since an update in July

ever since installed update around july of 2012, flash player hasn't been working properly. main problem video severly choppy, , lags behind audio as 5 ten seconds. needless say, intolerable....

my questions are, know causing this?- please keep in mind have gone through troubleshooting on adobe's pages. and...

are programs may running in background may preventing uninstall program running? i'm trying uninstall able use archived version of flash player, won't let me that..... help!!!!

to troubleshoot we'll need following system information:

 

when reporting issues video or audio, it's helpful system hardware , driver details.  instructions finding information can found here:

 

finally, video , audio problems caused @ lower level , not directly related flash player.  recommend trying both of links below see how perform.  if problem exists both, flash player not culprit html5 video link not use flash player when playing.  can verify use of html5 right clicking html5 video , looking words "about html5" @ bottom of context menu.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
