Help with mapping artwork to a 3d revolve object

i have created 3d object coffee mate carton. tried post images on here keep getting error.the art work want put on object consists of number of elements have been saved symbol. (image) whenever try map object nothing happens. have used of system symbols , these work fine. have made simple label of text , works fine. there problem using more complex symbols in way?  appreciated

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
