I am trying to move a photo from lightroom4 into desktop or iPhoto on my iMac.

i following " file named "dsc_0736.jpg" offline or missing.

lightroom cannot find file, hence message. happens because moved or renamed or deleted photo outside of lightroom. try clicking on ? icon , pointing lightroom new name and/or location of photo. more details here: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
