i have been loyal user of fine adobe products years. feel betrayed!!!. upgrade cycle longer need value dollar. 24-36 months. have been cs5 user , in evaluation period upgrade cs6. decided want , bang..it not available. willing buy adobe, $199 upgrade , though in evaluation period can not. yes e,ventually go cc single hobbiest photographer..it not me @ time. continue use lightroom , cs5 unless somehow grandfathered in faith in trial period cs6 upgrade when rug pulled!

hard think why, if you're upgrading every version anyway, wait until late in cycle, understand there can pressures keep things same during critical times, etc.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
