Investigating a problem that's beyond the readily available technical support.


i've been having problem lr 4.4, apparently corrupt catalog, i've spoken @ length technical support in india several times, discouraging results.  first 3 calls first-level support people; became abundantly clear knowledge of these people limited: couldn't comprehend nature of problem.  spoke friday evening 3 hours supervisor, pleasant man had quite sophisticated knowledge of workings of lr4 , tried hard (and long) me resolve problem.  after 3 hours of meeting continued frustration, suggested he'd bring issue colleagues @ technical support meeting they're having coming monday , call me back.  in meantime, when tried start lr explore problem further on own, found wouldn't launch.  i've been through of more thoughtful discussions issue on site, none i've seen far looks promising.

 

at point, there seems no recourse adobe, beyond calling technical support number connects me facility in india.  know of other approach?
