Is the MVM .tmp file issue STILL not fixed by Adobe.

i've read entire 3 pages of the 16 temp files hell thread (as others), , extremely disappointed see issue still has not been resolved.  writes these files drive space.  major annoyance number of reasons (which covered various users in thread) , unacceptable after literally years has not been resolved.

 

i noticing these files when using after effects, so "adobe-wide" issue, not just relegated photoshop.  don't know if happens ps me or not (i'm assuming does).  wanted post here because exact same problem, , discussion appears in ps discussions.

 

any insight appreciated.  thanks.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
