Microsoft downloads for WinHelp in KB 917607 do not apply to server 2003

-

we have user attempting load our winhelp project on windows 2003 server

 

the procedures in kb article downloading winhelp engine apply server 2008 , when attempts use that, gets message not valid server version.

 

does have experience running winhelp projects on server 2003?

 

please note - not question running robohelp on server

i have no experience of page below seems indicate winhelp should run on server 2003 without needing download engine.

i wonder if had tried run before trying download later engine , failed work, prompting search. page refers gid files , makes me wonder if issue. recall if shipped both hlp , gid, there problems.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
