Multi slide quiz vs. Flash quiz on single slide

i'm looking insight , feedback on game/quiz developing part of course

authored in captivate 6 (on mac).  i'm new captivate , trying avoid approaches might give me issues down road.  here background on i'm trying do.  sorry if detail.

 

as part of course want user comlete simple game/quiz presented picture , must click on small area of picture shows specific feature.  need click  right place before continuing on.  once click in right spot move on multiple choice quiz question asking them identify saw.  go next picture identify new feature , on.  6 images small feature identify clicking on it, each 1 followed multiple choice question asking them identify feature.

 

we won't scoring quizes, since meant more knowledge review.  users required complete in course credit track completion.

 

i had planned have flash programmer  create entire thing self contained game/quiz , put single slide.   seems give options how presented , specific animations/interactions. 

 

but after playing around captivate while, thought maybe best use flash create separate swf each picture, use captivate quizes between.  , i've played around more, realize pretty easy use captivate , make picture big image button (with nothing happening when people click on it) , place smaller transparent button on area supposed find , make clicking on take them quiz question slide picture.

 

doing in captivate appealing, flash give me more options creating interesting game.

 

this course destined lms , required scorm compliant (the scorm engine works 4th edition).  while users aren't scored, want track completion.

 

anyone have issues bringing in separate swf stuff flash either stability/playback or related scorm?  compelling reasons keep on 1 slide using flash approach versus using dozen or separate captivate slides?  or visa versa?

i'm curious method you're describing here. why make picture image button doesn't anything?

 

if understand scenario correctly, of in captivate make easier edit later. (it's personal preference; can edit flash files, find captivate easier quick edits.) i'd create picture slides inserting image on slide , putting click box on new feature jumps next slide (the question slide). it's pretty method you're describing, except wouldn't use image button (since don't understand purpose serves).

 

there's fair amount of interactivity implement on picture slides, either built-in failure/success/hint caption options or advanced actions. alernate slides flash animation , captivate quiz slides... guess depends on sort of "interesting" things you'd do.

 

i can't imagine you'd have issues scorm, since aren't trying score anything... others might know more that.
