People photos on a white background....

i'm looking bit of advice on following:

 

i need print 200 profile cards (sized a6).  there information individual along photograph.  questions are:

 

  • the photos 680 x 1024 @ 72dpi - i'm sure these print ok @ a6....?
  • all candidates on white background - backgrounds brighter others - what's best way make whiter (photos cropped , placed on white background) , there way on mass?

 

i'm using photoshop cs6.

 

many in advance.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
